Dr. Leonard Foster from UBC’s Michael Smith Laboratories, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is going to talk about his start in beekeeping and delve into his research which includes hygienic bee behaviours, selectively breeding queens with good mite hygiene through protein analysis.
