Nuria Morfin from The BCHPA Tech Transfer program will be talking about TTP plans for the spring, general beekeeping planning and reviewing the past year as we look forward to spring 2024. She has expertise in diverse areas, including Integrated Pest Management (IPM), selective breeding, and honey bee pathology. Nuria has collaborated in a number of research projects in North America, has published in reputable scientific journals, and has been an instructor of IPM, queen rearing, and honey bee biology courses.
The goal of the Tech Transfer program is to promote honey bee health and productivity, and to advance the sustainability of the beekeeping industry in British Columbia through research, education, and knowledge transfer.
